Back to work

Well it was back to the routine today. Ack! I like routine life though so I don't know why i'm complaining.

I can't wait for this weekend!! I am going to an NPC show here in Indy!! I am also meeting my posing coach YIPPEE!!

I had a great shoulder workout today and an awesome leg workout yesterday! My weights keep increasing which makes me a happy girl.
I got a new Monica Brant tank in the mail today! I love my arms in this picture:
I wanted one with white writing but it said she'll send what she has. I still like it!
I got my new diet plan from Tony yesterday. Not much has changed too severely. I'll just keep trucking away!!

Scale Whore Returns!

I normally only weigh when Tony tells me too but I was so disappointed with my weigh in on Saturday I did all I could to make Sunday a better number. I woke up Sunday and got on the scale again hoping for at least .4 oz to be gone!! Nothing the weight was the same 121.4!! AARRGGG! (who really says that? Jack Sparrow maybe)

Yesterday was so much fun just chilling, grilling out and laying out with my mom. We do that every Memorial Day. For lunch I had my chicken salad and she had a peanut butter sandwich. If she only knew how much I wanted that sandwich. I watched as she fed some to the dogs:( We grilled at my house and my hubby fixed angus burgers and I had salmon kabobs!! YUMMY!! I also ran for 3.5 miles in there somewhere.

This morning I thought what the heck, i'll jump on the scale. It read 120! At this point I didn't believe that thing went below 120. I needed to bring more TP downstairs so I ran upstairs and ran back downstairs. I'll hop on again just for the heck of it. 119.8!!! I am content now. My goal is to be 115 by July 1st without sacrificing muscles.

Rise and Shine!

I talked with Tony last night and he thought the suit was perfect!! HOORAY! I told him I will need to know how much I will weigh. He said don't worry about it the shows go by height. I said I mean for my suit measurements. *silence* Ummmm...Uhhhhhhhhh.......I have the number in the back of my mind but don't worry about it just keep building that muscle superstar.

The conversation continued and I said again just give me the number. I don't want you to get obsessed. What is it 108-110?? Well if I tell you just remember to let me worry about that number you just build the muscle right now. Don't worry I can handle it. I'll be changing your eating plan if you feel the weight loss has stalled. Ooh another challenge not a problem now what's the number???? I'd like to see you at 103-105lbs. *Gulp*

After my weigh in this morning I need a meal plan change I guess. It was 121.4. I wanted to be at 120. Oh JeezI have 17 weeks to drop 16lbs. I can do it!! I told him I did early cardio 2 times this week and will get more in on Sunday. He said that is fine but don't do too much cardio just yet, I know it's coming though:)

Carb Day!!

Not what you all are thinking.

Carb day is the most taken off day of the year in Indiana. Everyone is at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway getting drunk and acting like idiotic fools. Not I, I will be at work covering for one of those idiotic fools.

The only fun that comes out of the Indy 500 for me is the tradition of laying out on Sunday with my mom.

I just had my carbs for the day. 1/2 cup of oats. yippee. I take that back, I am having a salad at lunch Shoot Me

I have been getting bad reviews of the Lidia-Conti suits so I have been looking around some more. Beka was one and I trust her opinion. Martha also mentioned the judges may not like the see through sided suits. Plus after looking at a lot of pros there suits are all "normal". So here are 3 more choices I have found.

Opinions please!

Tony loved the suit I showed him HOORAY! Now I just want to see if everyone else agrees! The color is what I really need help with:



If you could let me know which suit and which color you like best I would greatly appreciate it. Why can't I just go with my gut and get the one I like? That is too easy and I need some stress in my life!
(p.s. i know this looks nice and neat and when I hit post blog it will go to crap)

Feeling accomplished

I got up and ran two miles this morning and having music sure did make the time fly by!! I have legs tonight ouchy, it looks like a killer.

I have picked out a two-piece for the show but i'm going to wait for Tony's approval before showing it. Waiting My husband liked it and so did Angela so I hope T will too. It is a little pricey but you only live once right?

My next step is to actually pay the OCB membership fee and sign up for the contest!! Once I do that there is no turning back! Very Confused

Welcome to the 21st century

I got an MP3 player!! I normally just blast the stereo upstairs while working out but figured since more cardio will be in store closer to contest time i'll need one.

I suck at eating on Sundays. I stick to clean foods and all but I always seem to miss a meal and I don't take an MRP since I don't lift on Sundays Feeling Blue

Break your f'****in neck b*tches, I love my new toy!! Busta Rhymes is the bomb!!

Forgot to mention. My grandparents 60th wedding anniversary was this weekend. We had a cookout and I was good. I had a veggie kabob, red and yellow peppers and squash and a slice of grilled turkey! I was so excited they had food I could eat. I came prepared with my bag full of salad and tuna but didn't need it. I did have a "taste" of the cake. I am talking no larger than my pinky nail. My aunt said how many people do you know who are married 60 years blah, blah, blah, so I took my finger took a little dab and all was good.

I stand corrected by Tony. I don't need more muscles I have plenty of them. I need more cuts!!

Tracey, I use rice wine vinegar as salad dressing sometimes. Are we allowed to use fat-free sour cream? If so I do know of a homemade dressing but it uses lite soy sauce that is in one of my old issues of Oxygen. If you want me to I'll post it for you:)

I've done 20 minutes of walk runs this morning for some fat burning. When I get off work and come home I have ABS OF HELL to look forward too.(Thanks Tony) I'm not complaining because I love to work them. They put abs of steel to shame though. Tony's abs put any videos i've ever done to shame.

Dr. Oz

I hopped on the treadmill today and put it on Oprah like usual and Dr. Oz was on. I liked him at first and now he is just getting annoying to me. I flipped through the channels only to find Ms. Fitness World on. It was definetly motivating and I did my walk runs at 4.0/8.2! I really don't see how those girls do that, I have problems keeping my balance while running on the treadmill.

I haven't talked to Tony since last Thursday! I e-mailed him that recipe and he hasn't said anything? Angela and I have decided its okay to eat it! Thumbs Up I thought about calling Tony but I know that will lead to no oatmeal in the morning or drinking acid and i'm not ready for that this week .Bang Your Head

Chocolate craving satisfied!

I e-mailed the chocolate lava cake recipe to Tony and he hasn't responded yet if it is approved or not? It was approved by me and just what I needed! Amyella is a blessing! This was sooooo goooood!

I killed my legs again tonight. I increased my weight on narrow squats again! Oh I can't wait not to be able to walk Wednesday.

Happy Mother's Day

Mother's Day DessertHappy Mother's Day to all the mom's out there! To all of the "fur" moms too. I am going to my Grandma's to celebrate with my mom and aunt and grandma. My mom called and told me they are taking grams to the park and having a picnic. At first I said well have a good time I won't be eating any of that stuff so I won't go. Then my good angel on the other shoulder thought just pack your own lunch and spend time with your family. The good angel one so now I can't wait!

The puppies are cuter than ever right now, they wear Boomer out.

Actually she just steps on them and make them yip trying to get away.

My lower abs are soooo sore today! It's hard to get those sore so whatever Tony had me do the past 3 days sure did work ow!

Laying in bed last night...

Mike and I were just talking about things. I said I better weigh 120 again tomorrow morning after killing myself this week and no carb today. He said who cares how much you weigh! Your body looks totally different and keeps getting better. He is so sweet. I'm glad we had that talk to because this morning I weighed in at 122. It's just a number though, even though I have a goal to be at 115 by July 1st!!

I think we are going to the Tool concert in Cincinnati on June 29!! They rock! I haven't been to a concert in 10 years.

Well that is all. Target's done, car is washed, community garage sale is today,(although we are participating this time) next is the bank and to see my dad's puppies!! They are 8 wks old now and the little girl has already been taken:( Her name was D.J. I wish I wouldn't have gotten close to them and named them because they are all being given away. I guess that is just part of it.

What could make this day any better?

It is Friday! Work is over! Favorite workout back and abs! No carb day went well! Denied all of the cookies, pies, chips and guacomole pigging out at work! Movie night with hubby!

I'll tell you what would make it better: A large tomatoe and green pepper pizza from Donato's Pizza Pie

Instead i'll enjoy my fish or chicken hmmmm.....Mike is grilling out so it may be chicken. Maybe even a chocolate lava cake from our blogger chef Amyella.

I feel 80 years old today

My legs are so sore and my chest is sore!! Hooray for the chest that never gets sore! Today was abs so my legs still hurt on some of the exercises.

Thanks to Angela for e-mailing with me at work Way To Go I was so bored and it made it look like I was doing something.

Lazy is not my middle name

Since I slacked on the morning cardio yesterday my hubby called me lazy. No
I know he was only kidding but I had to fix that. I hopped on the gazelle last night after dinner and did that for about 25 minutes. This morning I was going to jog 2 miles but like I had mentioned in my last post I upped the weights this week. Since Tuesday was leg day and the DOMS come 2 days later I just did a fast walk instead. My fast walks are at 4.5 so its intense for my little legs.

I was going out to get the paper this morning in my flip flops, short shorts and sleeves cut off tee's that I slept in last night. That is pretty much what I always look like in the mornings. It's a routine Boomer goes with me and I always say "Come walk with mommy". She just doesn't want to walk anymore?? Low and behold this morning she was gung ho!! Good thing they're Nike flip flops cause they are soooo comfy. I thought to myself man i'm glad it's dark and no one can see me or is up yet. Then around the corner came a herd of bicyclers!!! I didn't have Boomer on a leash so I said come walk by mommy and they probably thought I was nuts because i'm sure they didn't see her being black and all?? Nice way to start the day Goofy

Feels good!

It feels so good to be eating clean and lifting weights again. I have even increased the poundage on my weights this week. It is like my body is refreshed or something. I want to get on the scale because I feel like i've lost weight which is weird?? I guess the bloat from the cruise is going away!! YIPPEE! Maybe i'll get below 120 soon Hmm

I have been looking at suits again and I know the colors I want but i'm not sure of the styles. I don't know whether to go with the traditional ones or ones that are a little different? The OCB show that i'm planning on doing only requires a two piece which is nice. This is the color of the two piece I am looking at. When I wear this color everyone tells me that I look good in that color?? I like it to so that is a plus. I'm still not sure of the one piece although I would like it to be darker. I read somewhere that if you have red hair its best to go with a dark blue or green? I've got plenty of time to get it figured out I guess.
I was a slacker this morning and didn't get up for extra cardio Darn I did yesterday though and plan to tomorrow.

When my hubby and I decided to take our cruise I told him that I would have my half saved up in no time. I also mentioned that if I had a problem saving I could just drop Tony(I would never really think of doing this, I would go without weekly Target sprees first). He said "No Way" You have enjoy yourself on this cruise because of him. I guess he really noticed a difference in me and my shyness of being in a bathing suit. Being surrounded by a herd of cattle helped a lot too Way To Go

Welcome back to work!

I'll go on more vacations if going back to work means getting a bonus check and a raise! This was a good day! I printed off next years cruise itinerary so i'll remember why I am working.

Just when I feel like ordering parts for robot modules isn't where I want to be they go and give me a pretty huge raise I may add. I guess i'll be in Indiana for awhile now:) Only 33 years until Mike and I retire to Florida!!! I would make a countdown but that would be getting carried away Roll

The Damage

Tony called last night and wanted me to weigh this morning. I wasn't sure if I was mentally ready for the number to show on the scale but I did it anyway. I know with Tony's help I will be below where I started from in a bit anyhow. I keep thinking if I wouldn't have had 2 cookies everyday or that rice pudding for breakfast every moring maybe it would be lower?

Sydney reminded me that people on a cruise ship are so obese it is sad. Mike's parents are overweight and they went with us. His dad pigged out but his mom didn't seem to eat anymore than I did. We all talked about Saturday morning breakfast being our last fattening and good meal. When we got to Chicago at 5:00 and starving we all walked around to find some dinner. I chose a salad with chicken, walnuts, and fat free vinegrette. Mike had a chicken pizza but like it matters he stay thin. His parents ate McD's!! Some people just don't get it. Although I had an iced, nonfat, mocha latte around 7:00p Shock

Now back to the number on the scale 124!! This is much better than I expected so I am actually excited. I can now list the foods I had and not feel to bad about it because my metabolism must be working!!!

In the Words of Fiona Apple

I've been a bad bad girl....

Our cruise was awesome! I love our time together without work, dog, and other things that get in the way. This is when we can just relax and focus on how much we love and enjoy each other. Okay enough of that sick mushy crap.

I am through with my carb/sugar load week. I don't even feel like eating at all today. My breakfast, and lunches were 85% clean but at dinner after the meals I splurged on dessert and it was wonderful!!! I had one Pina Coloda and that was all the alcohol I consumed because I kept thinking of Tony saying alcohol is a metabolism killer. I wish he would have said this about chocolate:) Martha and Amyella may not want to read this next part. I ate fish for dinner every night just because I don't care for red meat so the meals weren't so bad. I tried the banana shortcake one night just because it had peanut butter sauce on it. OMG everything tasted so good. I even had a slice a pizza for lunch on Friday!!! I felt like telling all the freaking huge fat people to get out of my way I am not going to go home and eat McD's and ding dongs. You could tell most of them were. I almost felt sorry for some of those people. I feel really fat right now but I know mine and then some will be gone in a couple of weeks. Yesterday I hardle ate anything just because flying sucks and gets you off schedule big time. Our flight from San Juan didn't leave until 1:45p and we got home at 12:30a this morning.

I did walk 2 miles fasted state every morning and took the stairs when I wasn't in heels. I also did 4 miles of walk/runs everyday except for Thursday. Tony told me to do this 2-3 hours before the big dinners and I should be fine. I probably would have been fine without the smorgasbord of desserts!! I just kept thinking of the comp in 4 months and how this will be my last chance.

I'll post some pics sometime. For now I have to unpack, do laundry, go to the grocery store, cook for the week, and give my doggie lots of love!!
