Fun weekend!

So this weekend I had to "please" my husband somehow but not in that way. (I know how your minds think) He was going to go to the lake this weekend but decided to stay home since I wouldn't go. Instead on Saturday we went shopping which was his idea I wasn't trying to torture him. We watched some movies and it was so beautiful outside too. I was watching my mom's dog all weekend which is no big deal since she is a little Pomeranian and that was another excuse not to go get on the boat.

Whenever we go we never take Boomer and I told him i'd go if we took her. He said okay we'll bring her! Plan failed I didn't think he would say that. We were worried about taking her because if she is somewhere and bored she whines a lot and it's annoying to us. Long story short we went on Sunday had a great time and Boomer made a friend Wiggam. Apparently she doesn't like to swim though, other than that she had a great time on the boat.

This is my upper left thigh after Mike threw Boomer in the water.
My right quad looks just as bad.

I felt so sorry for her her eyes were so big and she was huffin and puffin. Wiggam was in the water and loving it so we figured since she was part black lab she would like it once she was in. WRONG. She must be more border collie in that aspect!

Angus burgers, buns, cheese, potato salad, Doritos, beer, smirnoffs, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, baked beans, and one tuna kabob was on the table for dinner. You can guess which one was mine:( I was a good girl.

So I had a nice weekend and am glad I went and my marriage may last a little longer hee hee!

Ouch!!! Poor doggie too!!! Mine loves the water, but we can't trust her off of a leash, so she doesn't get to go very often.

Yummy on the turkey kabob. How did you do it, if I may ask?

Oops, I meant tuna kabob. I must have turkey on the brain.

Thanks Colette! Friday will be great because I don't have to work:)

Katie-I bought the kabob at Kroger premade. It has onions, cherry tomatoes and green peppers on it YUMMY! Three big hunks of tuna too:)

Hi April!

I'm a TonyDiva lurker and wanted to come out of the closet today. I enjoy reading your posts for motivation and a good laugh. Good luck in your journey to winning yourself a figure trophy! You have the best guidance out there. I'm going to keep those tuna kabobs in mind for July 4th, sounds yummy!

Ouch, that bruise looks terrible! Funny I thought labs loved the water, too. I have a full border collie and she loves the water, so I don't know why your dog doesn't.
