Crunch Time

Seriously when I wrote crunch, I thought of the fudgy crunchy ice cream cake middle that I ate yesterday LOL! I am done with that though. I'm glad it's out of my system. Now I have 8 weeks to get this body in contest shape!!


I got my new diet from Tony today and I'm not sure how long it will last but it does include yams and avocado!!! I hope I see big changes!

Did legs today and you know, I burn more calories during a leg workout than I do during some cardio workouts.
Here is the hairdo i'm getting on Friday. I know at first I was all worried about getting it short and now i'm getting it shorter???

Happy Binge Day to Me :)

I had a wonderful day today! I was relaxed, around my family and I got some presents :) I am so stuffed right now though and it doesn't feel good. I remember telling Mike a few weeks back that I wish I could just feel full. I take that back I don't like it. I dont like the feeling of pizza sitting in my throat GROSS!

I only had two slices of pizza but went overboard on the ice cream cake. After we were all finished and there were a couple pieces of cake left that we were going to through away I made sure to eat the fudgy, crunchy stuff out of it first YUMMY!! I ate my last bite and haven't eaten anything in 5 hours. I know that is bad but I would seriously puke if I put anything in my body right now. I am drinking water though.

I have absolutely no guilt though and it feels wonderful. Yesterday on my no carb day i'm always amazed at how i'm not hungry at all. All day I had to remind myselft to eat and I don't crave anything. I think I really love no carbs days!! I miss my oats too but it's the price I have to pay.

So after today I am $130 richer and ready to kick butt the next 8 weeks!!! There will not be one ounce of non-Tony approved food touch my lips. Also,he told me, and I loved the way he put it, he will be having me do 2 leg workouts a week soon like this week : ) After doing 17 miles worth of walk/jog/running/hills/ and whatever else is left this weekend I can barely move this will be interesting.

8 weeks out - 115.6lbs

I'm still losing slowly which is my goal so I can maintain my muscles:)

2 workouts down and 1 to go whew! I've also taken a 2 hour nap and am getting ready to sleep again I think......so tired. I'm only tired because Mike is at work and i'm bored. I think we are going to see the Simpson's Movie tonight!

You know what I keep thinking about right now while i'm working out or eating another can of tuna......is it a first place trophy........how well i'm going to look in my suit.........no, it's the pizza and ice cream cake I get tomorrow LOL!!!

Happy day almost ruined

I've been in a pretty good mood lately which is scaring me. Tony called today to check up and give me some instructions for the next six days. To sum it up-no carbs, lots of carido. He told me no carbs later today, tomorrow, Sunday......started to panic and then he said except for your b-day cheat, sphew!!!! He'll call me about Monday and Tuesday because they go into great detail. On top of this 2 hours of cardio tomorrow plus my *assuming* bicep/tricep workout.

I can't wait to see the results in the next six days. I'm ready for my body to start changing more. People I work with are really worried about me LOL! I tell them it looks worse than it is because I wear a baggy uniform. So what if I passed up the bagels and donuts today......didn't you see me eating my turkey, asparagus, shakes, and chicken??

Things are a lot harder to pass up now than when I first started this journey. My little devil on my shoulder was no where to be found during the first 5 months. Now sometimes i'll think hmmmm.......just a bit won't hurt me. So far I haven't given into the temptations and don't plan on it. Except for the nuts at that wedding last weekend and those 6 peanut m&m's a few weeks ago :)

My plans this weekend are Target, workout, shower, sleep, workout, shower, eat, and sleep some more. Exciting huh?

I can't wait, I can't wait!


Tony called me last night. We are going to start the cycles at the end of the week. I don't know what that means but that's NOT what I can't wait for. He has it planned that my cycle will include pizza and ice cream cake on Sunday!!! My b-day is next Tuesday...i'll be 29 again. I told my mom to have my party Sunday because yes, there is a price to pay. I will have to do an hour of cardio before and then after I eat that junk LOL! It will be worth it though! I haven't cheated in 3 months!! Unless you consider the 6 M&M's here and there and a 2 oz bag of peanuts okay, but it's not real fill you up stuff!

He also reminded me not to forget my cardio will be bumped up to 2 hours a day soon. I realize for this fat to come off that will have to happen:( For now i'll just dream of my pizza. I already know i'm getting the bbq chicken pizza from Papa Murphy's, the de-lite kind. Those have half the carbs than a normal one :)

Oops!

I forgot to set my alarm last night! I still woke up at 4:55a so I got in a 38 min cardio session this morning. Since I was behind I didn't put on my HRM. I did however wear it to work. In 8 hours I burned 771 cals :)

My legs were sore all day from hiking and guess what was on the agenda for the workout today? LEGS!!! I killed them though and i'm starting to see new muscles in them! If I can get this stubborn fat off of me I may be ripped! In my 58 minute leg workout I burned 401 cals!

I'll put the thing on in the morning just to get an idea what i'm burning doing my 45 mins. My battery will be worn out by next month. It doesn't take a lot to entertain me :)

"Have you started yet?"

This was the last thing my husband asked me last night before we fell asleep. My last period was June 1st. So to ease his mind I went and took a test today and it was negative. YIPPEE!!

The wedding I went to yesterday was nice and a perfect day for a wedding. The weather here in Indy has been perfect the past couple of days. We took advantage of that and went to Brown County State Park(LOVE THIS PLACE!!) and took an hour hike and threw the football around for a bit. I wore my HRM and my average was 126 and max was 162, perfect for my extra cardio! Now no worries about when to fit in a workout today!

I just finished some asparagus and tuna and am ready to take a nap. I have all the windows open in the house and the breeze is blowing through the house, yes good time for a nap. Mike just rode his motorcycle to Zionsville, about a 1/2 north of here. He went to a BBQ that his friends were having. If I stay home no temptation.

Oh, at the wedding they had a chocolate fountain mmmmm......I just stood there and smelled it, it was heaven.

The Saddest Part of my Days

I absolutely LOVE my PINK POLAR F6!!!! Tony gave me a rate to be in between and without my HRM I would have for sure been way too high!! This is gonna be the best thing ever! (besides Tony of course)

So I got 9 hours of sleep last night so I woke up thinking all right i'll hop on the tready and think about how much energy I'll have all day. I keep thinking maybe i'm psyching myself into thinking i'm tired. As Boomer was following me all over the house this morning I told Mike "She must be able to hear it snowing up north." Then I asked him to vacuum the stairs tonight and i'll mow the rest of the carpet??? I guess I really am tired LOL!!!

My abs workout was rockin!! I did ALL of the 610 reps!! YIPPEE!!

Wow that first month I partied like a rock star! The only gain was when I switched to the digital scale but that doesn't count LOL! I guess I really started at 134.0. When I look at the last pound I lost and was discouraged it was still a .8% change which looks better to me!

I am excited to see what my overall percent will end up at! Before I eat this dessert I have picked out for after the show mmmmmm.........

Talking with Tony

Today Tony got a hold of me and we had a great conversation. He is going to call me and go over some neat stuff with me to try out next week. He also said I would weigh in Wednesday and to NOT get on the scale before that. He said my pics made him smile and he was proud of me. He said he can see my waist has gone in, my inner thighs are slimmer, and my butt is lifting. This was nice to hear from him because I can only see that I need to lose my pooch, there is fat still on my hips, and where is my right calf?

I had chest today and lifted my highest so far!! I have been soooo tired lately and he said basically to GET USE TO IT!! LOL!! Tomorrow is abs crit and one of the exercises is 5 sets 20 reps of V-ups!!! I use to hate the hell out of these but now that I can actually do them i'm ready to rock it!! My HRM will be here tomorrow which will help me out tremendously in my workout cause he wants me to keep my heart rate at a lower level. I can't wait to get it!!!

It is now 7:45p and I am going to bed.....I told ya I was tired.

Someone pinch me!

I was almost depressed all weekend because I figured he would give me more cardio. I am soooooo relieved now :) Not that it won't get added in later, but the back of my knee is killing me!! It doesn't hurt when i'm on the treadmill which is odd??

I was told to up the flax oil a couple of weeks ago and I keep forgetting. Today I am taking my bottle to work and sitting on my desk next to my green tea extract so I don't forget anymore.

Thanks for all your kinds words. I would never doubt Tony he's gotten me farther than I ever believed I could. Here is a pic of me 1.5 years ago. Check out the roll!! I did step aerobics like a mad woman and ate what I thought was good. For my body I guess-bread, rice, sweet potato, and cereal = FAT(or maybe it's all the 7lbs I gained every cruise)

Lazy Sunday

So my weigh in yesterday sucked balls. I weighed 116.8. I'm not going to let it discouraged me though because I know I worked my tail off, resisted tons of good food and did my best. I will however weigh again tomorrow just to see where i'm at. I always weigh less on Mondays??

I was so busy yesterday but I had a blast shopping with Jodi. I bought some new skechers and they are soooo cute!!

I think I wear flip flops to much and they are making my feet hurt.

We ate at Applebees's and I had a shrimp skewer salad and asked them if they could make it without the soy sauce and they said not a problem.

I took pics again and sent them to Tony. I know he'll come back and say I need to do 2 hours of extra cardio a day *sigh*. I know he knows what he is doing but then I read other things and get all confused. This is the reason I don't buy those stupid fitness magazines anymore they are all crap. I need to quit looking at forums online too. My body stores fat and everyones body is different. I need to remember this.

I'm going to take my girl to PetSmart today and then come home and hop on the treadmill for and hour just for the heck of it!!!

Who am I?

Wow, this week has been really rough.....for my husband. I have been a real Brat


Last night while peeling my eggs they weren't peeling right so I threw them across the room! It felt good and Boomer cleaned the mess egg shells and all. That reminds me I want to go check her poop and see if they are in there LOL!! That was a joke kind of.

Tony called me 3 times today right in a row. I must have been working out because when I got finished Mike said someone just tried to call you 3 times in a row. So being the brat i've been and to make a long story short.....It was Mike's fault I didn't talk to him. Well 5 minutes after we argued he got a hold of me. Happy

I found out the dinner for next weeks wedding: Grilled chicken breast, 2 sides, salad and dinner rolls! Hooray! I'll eat the chicken and salad YIPPEE!!

I tell you this week at work was the worse yet food wise. My company waste more money on food. There was Quizno's, Qdoba, Panera bagels, donuts, and today was Donato's. I did become creative though and made this for myself today:

It's my turkey burger with tomato, green pepper and onions. It looked like pizza to me. I thought I was cool until I got heartburn.

5.5

That is the number of miles I have walk/runned everyday this week. The minimum anyway. My little legs are tired. I'm sure i'll look back in a couple of weeks wishing that was all I was doing.

As much as I love abs is it really necessary to do 5 sets/35 reps of decline sit ups? I hope I get sore!!

This weekend i'm meeting with my friend Jodi to go shopping. I have met her once before at the show we went and watched a month ago. She is really cool and is going to do the show with me. We are very similar in heigth and body structure so it will be fun to see how we turn out. We are also both redheads!! Her stomach is flat though darnit, and she is only 24!! I told her that is awesome to start this at such a young age. Anyway, I love to shop!!

Mike is hosting a bachelor party this weekend. They are going golfing, playing pool and then probably to a "gentlemen's" club. Sexy Some of the wives/girlfriends are all upset and don't want them to go. I just don't get that?? If you can't trust your spouse your relationship won't last. I've always told Mike if you want to go see some boobies you will have to go look somewhere else because mine aren't there!! Seriously though, once you've been yourself you see it is just to laugh at your friends. The bride of the guy doesn't care that he is going, i've always liked her.

This brings up the fact that I have to go to a wedding next weekend. Ugh! I told Mike no more social events and I forgot about this. Mike is the best man and Brandon is my old roommate so I have to go. I'll just pack my cooler. Plus once I weigh this weekend hopefully i'll be at 115 and won't even thing of the lovely, moist, delicious, sweet, wedding cake.

Change of plans

So earlier I had mentioned that my hubby was taking me to New York for my b-day. Since I have gotten more serious about training and will be in the comp come September we are postponing that until next year. New York will always be there(hopefully). This willpower and drive I have right now may not be!! I really don't know who I am right now but I like it!!

So instead he is going to get me a heart rate monitor. I am looking at the Polar F6 and F4. I may go with the F4 only because I don't care about interfering of other monitors or treadmills since I workout at home. Anyone have any thoughts on this or know of another good monitor out there? I want to order it now but Mike says to make sure I get what I want.

I had an awesome shoulder workout today and of course got up and did my 45 min walk/run to get this fat off my ass. I shouldn't complain too much though it's come along way. Well time to do my last day of the Tony challenge for me. I am up to 9.0 sprints!!!(it's only 30 secs but i'll take it).

All in all I really love the suit! I have 11 weeks and this will look awesome!! Wow am I glad I didn't cheat at all last week! If this isn't motivation I don't know what is?? I need to get some shoulders in the meantime and I will be taking posing classes don't worry. Teethy

Just to let you know how mental I am.....Forget the fact that I have fat spilling over my suit and just posted pictures, I didn't show my face because I think my teeth look yellow!! My husband says i'm strange.

Perfect Timing!

I got a surprise "How are ya"? call from Tony right before walking into my in-laws yesterday. It is like he could smell the hamburgers, hot dogs, pork chops, baked beans, macaroni salad, 8 different kinds of Doritos, and chocolate cake. I let him know though that in my hand was my dish of fish and broccoli and yes that is all I had!!

My sister-in-law got a new puppy they named Toby. He looks just like Boomer when she was little. I'll post a pic laster.

After posting all of the foods I have been missing out on I have found out that no matter where you are at in Indiana, you eat like a hog having the same food everywhere.

Up early this morning for 45 minute walk/run! Around the 30 min mark i'm always ready to jump off but I keep going and am happy when I do the whole thing. If I don't I will never have a body like this.

Party Pooper

My husband and all of his friends and their wives/girlfriends all went to On the Border last night. I chose to stay home as usual. As strong as my willpower is I knew I could not resist this again twice in a month. Instead I went to my mommies and ate too many pistachios.
Oh Well

With all the cardio i'm going to have to do in the next 11 weeks i'm sure i'll burn them off.

I just made an awesome looking dessert to take to my in-laws today. I have my 6 0z. of fish and broccoli in my tupperware ready to go like a good girl. No spoons or bowls were licked I might add. I really hope I make my goal of 115 this weekend!! If not i'm going on a tostitos, salsa and chocolate binge!!!!!

I *heart* muscles

I had an amazing shoulder workout today! I saw muscles that I didn't have last week and veins up there and it rocked!! I wish it would look like that all the time. I left work early today so I could get in my extra 45 min walk/run later.
Shhh

Really this week at work is a joke anyway. I was off Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and worked today and will tomorrow. I wouldn't classify it as work, I made a presence. I'll probably only go in half a day tomorrow too.

Last nights cookout went great! I was so much more mentally prepared for some reason? There was hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, pork chops, bbq beef, shrimp kabobs, veggie kabobs, macaroni and cheese, chips, 7-layer dip with tostitos, chocolate cake, pumpkin pie cake, and cookies. My aunt specially grilled some chicken tenders for me too, she use to spoil me when I was little. I had that, veggie kabob, and for dessert..............1/2 cup of cottage cheese with 6 plain M&M's on top. Okay I could have done without the candy but oh well. I know when I get my suit next week i'll wish I hadn't of eaten those. Overall though it was a success.

Well i'm off to see my mommy now.

Second hour down

It actually went really fast too! I watched Sunset Tan while I was walk/running on the treadmill. That show is gay but now i'm addicted. Since I have burned more than 1000 calories in just exercise alone today I better have lost some poundage. Plus I haven't eaten that much today since no MRP will be consumed.

I will not be stepping on the dreaded Scale though. My hips measured 35 today!! That is what I will go on until Tony tells me to weigh again. Now i'm off to a cookout! Don't worry there will be grilled chicken so it's all good. Screw it, I may even eat some carrots!!!! Seriously though my mind is ready this time.



Happy 4th!

Well i've got the first half of Tony's challenge over with. Walking 2I went for an hour walk outside this morning. It felt so good and it was nice out too. I took my MP3 player with me and caught myself singing out loud and hitting the high hat a couple of times. Another reason I don't do gyms.

Mike and I saw 1408 the other day and it was a great movie. There were a couple of parts that really freak you out and I love it!!

I was going to go shopping this morning AGAIN, but if I don't go I won't spend the money so i'm staying home. The shorts I bought(size 7) two weeks ago are already big. I guess I shouldn't complain and I knew I should have bought the 5's. I am at a "comfortable size" for me in real life right now though. Not "competition" life though. Tears

I think i'll go and visit my dad today and just hang out, eat my meals, and more cardio later.

Feeling better today

What a great day I have had today. I got up and went to Target, my fave. Mike cleaned my car out for me and has been Mr. Handy around here lately. He has been putting up with my severe mood swings too.

I had a chest workout today, nothing spectacular but I did it. I think doing it earlier in the day just isn't for me. My body likes to do it after 4:00p for sure. My mom and I took a 45 min walk with the dogs and had a great time! I only have one more workout today, 45 min walk/run. Boy it sure would be nice just to be a housewife. Mike and I are going out for dinner tonight. He loves this restaurant called Oaken Barrel and we just don't eat out anymore surprise, surprise. I made his day by telling him we are going there tonight. SCREW IT!!! I won't be having a cheat or anything although the Greek salad with chicken has *gasp* feta cheese on it!!!! I may even eat some of the pita bread wedges they serve with it. I just need this before I break down completely and lose it!!!

Once I try this on I know I will be focused more than ever!

Mike rode his bike to Brown County State Park today. I am not riding on that thing for 45 minutes, plus it's easier for him to concentrate without me on it. Anyway, he called me and said he was sitting down eating a banana split LOL!!! I love him! I bought him the chocolate chip mint muscle milk since he is losing weight too and doesn't need to.

No Food, No Beer = Tears

I had a great weekend at the lake but i'm glad to be back in my own surroundings. I look like a lobster too! Mike didn't do a very good job on monitoring my sun LOL!!

I had a mental breakdown this weekend I think. While everybody else was going up to the cottage to get BBQ, potato salad, 7 layer dip, salsa, chips, etc......I sat down by the lake and cried. Seriously I cried!! Mike sat there with me too and I told him to go up there and eat. He shouldn't be going through this. I can't believe how well I did this weekend though, I know I am stronger than ever now.

Tony called me Friday right when I was getting ready to hop in the chair to get my hair cut. I didn't get to talk long so I will call him later today. I really need a pep talk. Well, I really need pizza but the pep talk will do.
